Review: Ella by LELO

If this already hasn’t become apparent to you, then you probably have not read my other reviews of Lelo products because I rave about them every time I have the honor of reviewing one. This time it is no different. Although the first time I tried out the Ella I actually didn’t enjoy it, but that was because I was in a strange sexual headspace and not really enjoying anything at the time. It was obviously all in my head because the second and all further times playing with Ella I was in love.

Like all Lelo toys she comes in a gorgeous black box with a satin pouch, manual, and (one year) warranty information. Although unlike Iris and Nea (and most other Lelo toys) Ella is a dildo, so there’s nothing to plug in or charge up, Ella is ready to go immediately. She is made 100% out of silicone, is extremely sleek and classy, and comes in either black or white from EdenFantasys (I got the black).

Ella is currently the only dildo in the Lelo line, and is a double-ended dildo to boot. Her two ends look a bit like the Gigi and the Liv put end-to-end. I’m a bit of a size queen, though I appreciate small toys as well if they are well made, and Ella is a little smaller around than I thought she would be. She is only just over one inch in diameter (1 1/4″), but regardless I found them to be absolutely fantastic for g-spot stimulation, especially the end that is curved with the flat head (Gigi-like).

I tried Ella a few different ways: thrusting inside of me, working inside of me, and with a vibe on my clit. Of course (clit whore as I am) I got off with a vibe on my clit, I used both the Hitachi and Nea and enjoyed each combination. The femme accessorizer in me enjoyed having the black Ella and black Nea working together (though I would have loved a black Lily instead, because the finish matches the Ella better than the Nea’s finish, but that’s just my OCD talking). Thrusting with both ends was highly pleasurable and Ella seemed larger when she was inside of me, I’m not sure why. Working it inside of me was pleasurable as well (by “working” I mean very slight thrusting, basically). Both ends make a wonderful handle for the other so the toy is extremely easy to maneuver.

Like all Lelo toys Ella was just absolutely fantastic, and looks more like a work of art than a dildo (“pleasure object” as Lelo calls all of their items). It is sleek, fem(me)inine, elegant, and gorgeous. I am constantly amazed with the pleasure objects Lelo produces and I can’t wait to get my hands on more of their toys! I’m especially lusting over their newest toy Bo, which I just discovered today, though I could list all of the toys that I don’t have as ones that I want.

Review: Iris by LELO

If you read my review of Lelo’s tiny Nea vibrator then you already know that LELO (Luxury Erotic Lifestyle Objects) is my new favorite toy company. When I had the chance to pick out some new toys from VibeReview, Lelo’s “pleasure object” Iris was right at the top of my list.

Iris comes in a beautiful black storage box with a charger (like all Lelo toys Iris is rechargeable–no pesky batteries to mess with), a satin pouch for traveling, warranty information (Lelo gives a one year warranty standard with all of their toys), and an instruction manual. The manual informs us that Iris is made of medical-grade silicone (the insertable shaft), and PC-ABS (the handle), both of which are non-porous and some of the highest quality material for sex toys on the market.

Like all Lelo vibrating toys, Iris has a LED strip around her interface dial that lights up when you press any of the four “quadrants” of the dial (+ or – vibration, and < or > vibration type). The manual mentioned that Iris will change color from white to red if the rechargeable battery is running out, alerting you to plug her in, blinking while she’s charging and then solid white when she’s charged up and ready to go. It takes up to three hours to charge her up for a full four hours of play. Other information in the manual includes how to turn Iris on, how to lock for traveling with Iris (a standard feature), troubleshooting, and the different types of vibration Iris offers.

Not only is Iris beautiful like all Lelo toys, the details on her shaft reminding me of the bud of a flower getting ready to bloom, but she also packs a pretty hefty punch. She has two different vibration centers, in the crown (or tip) and in the base (where she meets the handle), which you can set with continuous vibration in one or the other, or both. The other two vibration options are pulses either a slow or quick pulsation of the entire length of her. Personally I love using just the crown vibration for clitoral stimulation, which it does quite a wonderful job at!

Iris is curved just right for g-spot stimulation, be it shallow or deep, so she’s good for both thrusting and just pressing inside and letting her pulse as you play with something else on your clit (my favorite way to use her). She is also curved nicely for clitoral stimulation, as Iris curves right along the mons allowing for ease of maneuvering. I did find it a little too easy to press on the dial when in the middle of masturbating, which was annoying but not overly so.

Like I’ve said before, “there’s just no substitute for the quality of pleasure Lelo’s pleasure objects bring.” They are well-made, beautiful, elegant, and inform you of all the information you might need about the toy in the manual (including troubleshooting and recycling instructions!). I absolutely love the Iris, though it hasn’t quite outranked the Nea, it definitely comes close. I would highly recommend Iris to anyone who especially enjoys high-quality g-spot stimulating toys as well as works of art.

Review: The Silicone Crystal Cote

I have never had a suction-cup dildo before, so of course immediately after receiving the Silicone Crystal Cote in the mail a few weeks ago I slapped it up against the side of my bookshelf in the living room and let it sit there until it fell off, because what else would I do with a suction-cup dildo but make it stick to things? You know, aside from using it for it’s other intended purpose. It took over two hours for the suction to wear off, and that was with no help to stay on from me (like thrusting would do, for example).

I never quite saw the need for a suction-cup dildo before. I always figured why bother if I have a hand or a partner who can thrust the toy into me. However, upon receiving the cote (after sticking it to the bookshelf) I began to fantasize about the abilities for both solo and partner sex which the dildo offered me. I began to form double-penetration scenarios in my head and think of the possibilities of fucking myself without using my hands.

First, a few facts about the Silicone Crystal Cote. It is, in fact, made of silicone (never would have guessed, right?) but it has two different colors of silicone. I think the reason why they put silicone in the name of it is because it looks like it’s made out of jelly rubber. I, for one, have not seen another clear silicone dildo, and although I’ve seen ones with multiple colors I’ve never seen one that looks quite like the Cote.

It looks as if the purple silicone which the balls and suction cup are made out of has been shot into the clear silicone, the purple permeating the clear silicone in a very definite cone in the middle of it. The effect is unusual, but also rather gorgeous. Personally I love clear toys as well, and while the entire toy isn’t clear, having the clear which blends so effortlessly into the purple is something that piqued my interest for this toy.

The Cote is a little smaller than I had anticipated. While the entire length (including balls and suction cup) is about seven inches, the insertable length is only around four and a half. It’s about an average thickness as well, so if you like something that penetrates deeply or is extra thick I would pass. However, I found it to be just about a perfect length and width for fun suction-cup play, plus it has wonderful ridges and purple balls!

As I already mentioned, the Cote stuck to the side of my bookshelf for a couple of hours before falling off. It has also stuck to my walls, refrigerator, kitchen cabinets, bathroom tile, bathroom mirror, the side of my TV, and pretty much anything I could think of to test. The suction is pretty powerful, too, and only falls off after a few hours of hanging around, which is pretty good.

I tried this toy in a couple of different ways, Dominus used it on me, and it was lovely. The ridges really add a wonderful sensation, the suction cup and/or balls are easy to hold onto and make a great handle for ease of thrusting. The other way I’ve tried it was suctioned up against various surfaces (see: above) and then positioning myself onto it and going to town, an activity often accompanied with my Nea. Let me just say, this lovely dildo delivers.

The other way I want to try it but haven’t yet is during some double-penetration play. The idea would be me fucking back onto it while sucking Dominus’ cock. Why haven’t we done this yet? Honestly, I’m not sure. That’s part of the reason this review has taken so long to get out, I was waiting for that scenario to play out before reviewing it. Alas, I’ll just have to make it a seperate post!

If you’re in the market for a suction cup dildo, or you’re just curious about one after reading this review, I highly encourage you to pick up the Silicone Crystal Cote, which also comes in peach or fuchsia. The only problem I have found of it is that of size, like I said it’s not for you size queens out there, but otherwise it’s a fantastic toy built for hours of fucking.

Review: Nea by LELO

The Nea by Lelo may very well be my new favorite toy. I am absolutely in love with Lelo, so when they offered me a toy of theirs I had a hard time deciding which one to get because I want them all. There is no Lelo pleasure object that I wouldn’t own. They are all gorgeous and unique in their own ways, and I highly encourage you to check out their entire line of pleasure objects. Go ahead, I’ll still be here when you get back.

I like to take everything about a toy into account in my review and desire of it, not just the vibration or how well it gets me off. Although vibration and orgasm intensity are both extremely important (why else do we buy vibrators, right?) most toys can bring me to orgasm with enough time or effort on my part. Sometimes I want a longer work-up to orgasm not just the wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am intensity of the Hitachi, so intensity is not always the only thing I look for.

I take all the aesthetics and features into mind when reviewing a toy, and the greatest testament to my desire of it is not how well it got me off but how likely I am to use it again, and Nea has become my number one toy to use both for solo and partner play. I love everything about it: the design, the ease of use and light-up display, the chargeability, the size, the shape, the feel, and (of course) the vibration.

Nea comes in a pretty black storage box along with a charger, a satin pouch for traveling, warranty information (Lelo gives a one year warranty standard with all of their toys), and an instruction manual. Not many toys come with an instruction manual, and if they do there’s usually not more than a page of pretty basic instructions. Nea’s manual, however, includes not only basic information about the pleasure object (such as basic features, and charging, cleaning, and vibration information) but also troubleshooting information and specifications. The manual informs us that Nea is made from PC-ABS (Polycarbonate-Acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene blend) which is a phthalate-free thermoplastic and completely safe to use.

There is a LED strip around each of the buttons that lights up when you press them, which can be handy in a dark room. It also changes color from white to red if Nea’s batteries are running out, alerting you to plug her in to charge, blinking while she’s charging and then solid white when she’s charged up and ready to go. It takes just two hours of waiting to charge her up for a full seven hours of pleasure.

The added benefit of being able to charge the Nea also means that you will never have to change the batteries, meaning no batteries to use and throw away, and you’ll never have to search the house for new batteries to put in it mid-masturbation (something I’ve done a number of times). Lelo also sells the chargers separately in case something happens to the one included.

Another neat feature Nea has is the ability to lock the vibrator by pressing both buttons at once until the LED light turns off, which is definitely handy if you are planning on carrying it with you anywhere. Normally if I’m flying with vibrators I take the batteries out of them before packing them, but this is not possible with chargeable toys like Nea, so having the option to lock it is definitely handy. That way you don’t have to worry about Nea turning on accidentally in your bag, being confiscated by baggage handlers at the airport, or anything like that.

Unlike her nearly identical counterpart Lily (which has more of a silken matte finish) Nea is smooth and sleek, likened to porcelain by Lelo, a description I agree with. Nea sports a gorgeous delicate flower design on one side and two buttons on the underside, as you can see in the image above. Images of Nea can be deceiving, however, one would imagine from her pictures that she is the same size as the LayaSpot perhaps, which is four inches in length, but Nea is much smaller, only about two and a half inches. Small and adorable, just over the size of a bullet vibrator, made perfectly for clitoral stimulation.

This brings me to Nea’s shape, which I find to be absolutely perfect. She nestles just right, the rounded bottom of the toy against my thumb for button-pressing, my thumb resting against my mons, while the pointed end of Nea presses just right against my clit and VCH piercing, eliciting sighs and moans of pleasure. It has just the right curve to make it easy to get to just the right place, and while she is small she is easy to hold on to and maneuver about.

Nea‘s two buttons control both the intensity and type of vibration. In addition to the regular continuous vibration which all vibrators have, she also has four additional vibration pulses, three steady pulses of various speeds (called “extended interval pulsation,” “itermediate interval pulsationd ,” and “short interval pulsation” in the manual) as well as a roller coaster vibration effect (called “before & after”). I enjoy cycling through the programs and playing with the Nea on various parts of both my and Dominus’ body not just my clit.

I found the vibrations to be nice and strong but not extra super strong. While the Nea is able to bring me to orgasm it does require a little bit of rubbing on my part, which I don’t mind. Even when playing with the Hitachi I need to add a little bit of movement myself, it’s just the way my clit likes it, but the Nea definitely takes longer to get me off than the Hitachi. While the vibrations are strong I wouldn’t recommend Nea for those of you who need Hitachi-strength vibrations to get off. However, Nea can be a wonderful teasing toy if the goal isn’t to get off, and if you are looking for a gorgeous clitoral vibrator and don’t need that much strength Nea would be perfect for you (as it is for me)

There’s just nothing quite like the Nea well, except her sister toy Lily. Nea has made me a Lelo addict! I fantasize about someday having every Lelo toy happily residing in my toybox. There’s just no substitute for the quality of pleasure Lelo’s pleasure objects bring.

Review: The Silver Bullet

I love clitoral vibrators, especially if they are affordable and strong, and The Silver Bullet is just that. Bullets have a dear place in my heart, as the first vibrator I ever bought was a bullet. I was visiting my sister in Seattle and she took me to Babeland (then Toys in Babeland), she and a few friends were taking one of their co-workers to buy her first sex toy, and I had just gotten in to town, so I tagged along. It was glorious. I remember being completely awe-struck, I wandered around, looked at books that I desired like Screw the Roses, Send me the Thornes and, though I did desire a rabbit, I went for a more affordable choice: a glow in the dark bullet vibe. It was fantastic, and I remember loving it… a lot.

As a bullet vibe was my first ever sex toy all those years ago (aside from my hand, of course) bullets are forever near and dear to my heart. They are wonderfully inexpensive, but can pack a strong punch, and The Silver Bullet does just that, not to mention the silver bullet is metal, as opposed to other plastic bullets, which means it takes temperatures nicely, you can warm it in your hands or cool it down with some ice for fun sensation play. The vibrations of the bullet are strong, pleasant, and concentrated at the tip of the bullet, just where I like it.

The strongest selling points, aside from the power for the price, is the ease of maneuverability and versatility. You can do just about anything with this toy, and I should know, I used my glow-in-the-dark bullet anywhere I could find a use for it since a bullet was the only toy I had for quite some time. Anything that small is just perfect to get exactly where you want it, great for clitoral or perineum stimulation.

Bullets are also great for anal play for those who just like something small up there (as long as you use a condom with the bullet so it’s easier to get out, and never ever ever pull the bullet out by the cord, pull it out by the condom). They can also be used for discreet public play, the bullet nestled right against the clit and the controls in your pocket. Partner play is enhanced with the bullet as well, since it’s small it’s easy to get in between bodies, with either partner holding the controls.

There’s an endless amount of fun you can have with bullets, and since they’re so affordable and versatile I believe every sex toy lovin’ home should have at least one. The Silver Bullet is one of the toys I plan on always having around and I believe it will never go out of style.

Review: The Sensual Bulb Glass Dildo

Don’t forget to click on The Obama for President Coupon so that you can get 10% off your next order with VibeReview!

I am a sucker for glass dildos, they are my absolute favorite kind of dildos out there, and that’s saying a lot because I love dildos. Though I have never owned a steel or wooden dildo and I have a feeling I would love them just as much since the main reason I love glass is because of the hardness. I love the way rock hard dildos feel within me: sleek, smooth, and, well, hard. The sensual bulb is no exception.

The Sensual Bulb is only about 4 1/2 inches long, which is somewhat small for a glass dildo, and definitely smaller than I was expecting. This isn’t bad, however, and I’ve found that the length is just about perfect for great g-spot stimulation, the bulb at the end of the toy can press against the g-spot nicely while the flared base is easy to hold and perfect for maneuvering it to just the right angle.

This toy is also wonderful for anal play as well, as the base is nice and wide (you always want to use toys with bases anally so that they don’t get sucked up inside!) and it’s not too big for those of us who don’t want anything humongous going into our ass. I wouldn’t recommend it for long-term plug wearing because the base is rather wide and could be uncomfortable after a short amount of time, but it is a wonderful toy to use anally. I also generally love glass dildos anally again because of the hardness. Not to mention that glass dildos are non-porous and very easy to clean and disinfect, which is something I look for in any toy I get but especially toys that I want to put up my ass.

The Sensual Bulb is absolutely gorgeous, I love the cute butterfly etched in the base, and the purpley pink color of it, which I believe just adds to the beauty of the toy. All in all The Sensual Bulb is a wonderful shape and perfect for both vaginal and anal play. Obviously since it is not too large it won’t satisfy those who desire a lot of girth to their toys, but if you want to enjoy a well-crafted glass toy that will hit the g-spot or to use anally, this is a wonderful toy to have on hand!

Review: The Miracle Massager Attachment

VibeReview has announced their support of Obama and part of their support is to give to all you Obama supporters The Obama for President Coupon which will give you a whole 10% off of your next order with them and is useful up through election day! So, if you are planning on buying anything from VibeReview be sure to click-through to their site through The Obama for President Coupon so that you can get 10% off!

Last week I reviewed the Miracle Massager, and I was definitely pleased with it (not as strong as the Hitachi Magic Wand but still yummy vibration-wise and superior in other areas). So, this week it’s my turn to review the Miracle Massager Attachment, which is made out of clear PVC. I would like it a lot better if it was made out of silicone, as PVC and, specifically jelly as is the sub-category of PVC which this toy is made of, is extremely porous so it should not be shared.

Now, I’ve read a few reviews of the attachment, including people saying that they love the Miracle Massager even more with it, and I wish I could give it a good review. Unfortunately, my problem with the Massager Attachment is one of anatomy.

Let’s back up a little, however, so you can have more information about the attachment before I go into my issue with it. I found it gorgeous, I love see-through toys (glass or otherwise), and the shape is appealing as well. It has a nice ridged end, perfect for g-spot stimulation, as well as a platform extending out of that with lots of little “love nubs” which is just fantastic for clitoral stimulation.

As one can assume, the attachment is made so that one can have that dual-action feeling, a nice g-spot vibration as well as a stimulating clitoral massage. Unfortunately, as can be the problem with a lot of dual-action toys, when I inserted the toy the nubby platform did not line up with my clit! I had to move the toy around and maneuver it just right so that it hit my clitoris, but when I did that, it pulled out of my vagina almost all the way.

Like I said, this is an issue of anatomy, specifically my anatomy, and there are others who find this toy to be perfect and to line up just right. The nice thing is that this attachment is fairly inexpensive, so if you already have the Miracle Massager and want to try this toy out, I would still highly recommend it. It may line up perfectly, but even if it doesn’t you won’t have spent a whole lot of money on it.

However, even if your anatomy is like mine this toy doesn’t have to be a complete waste! While, yes, I was unable to have both clitoral and g-spot stimulation happening at once I was still able to achieve orgasm with the nubs on my clit and the first inch or so of the shaft inside of me. I was still getting combined vaginal and clitoral stimulation, and since the first three inches or so of the vaginal walls are, they say, the most sensitive, it wasn’t a complete loss.

Also, if you happen to have something like the silver bullet lying around (review two weeks from today) you can make the toy work for you by using the Miracle Massager Attachment for it’s g-spot capabilities, letting the nubs rub the vulva and urethra area (the vulval vestibule), and then using the glorious silver bullet for direct (or indirect, if that’s your desire) clitoral stimulation. I found that to work quite well as well!

Personally, I would much prefer using the Miracle Massager as a direct clitoral stimulator accompanied by my Vicky Venus (read my review here), or (if I’m wanting that g-spot stimulation) a g-spot toy like the Stubby G, Gigi or Iris (none of which I own, but I aspire to!).

Review: The Miracle Massager- Better than the Hitachi?

I was instantly intrigued by the Miracle Massager as it claims to be superior to the Hitachi Magic Wand. I’ve had many many vibrators over the years, and I (along with pretty much any other person who has tried it) absolutely love my Hitachi and believe that it is the best vibrator around. So you can imagine my interest in a massager that claims to be better than the Hitachi!

Here’s the run-down: according to it’s VibeReview pagethe Miracle Massager claims to be better than the Hitachi in three ways: size, erogonomics (design), and heat. Now, I’ll go through each of these one by one:

In terms of size the Miracle Massager is definitely superior to the Hitachi. When I first tried the Hitachi I was a little overwhelmed at it’s size, but the Miracle Massager is nowhere near as intimidating. The toy itself is quite a bit lighter than the Hitachi and the head is smaller and therefore easier to fit into the little nook and cranny and get it right against your clit. Not that the Hitachi is bad for this, but it’s definitely easier to do with the Miracle Massager.

Second, as it says, it’s “ergonomically superior,” meaning the overall design is better, and I highly agree. It’s much less bulky than the Hitachi, and is much easier to handle and maneuver. The Miracle Massager has a smaller diameter than the Hitachi, it curves slightly for ease of use, and it tapers at the end as well, which is really handy and makes it much easier to hold. The curved handle makes it easier for me to grab and the tapered handle means that I can move the toy against me with less effort than the Hitachi.

I also like that the controls of the Miracle Massager go off-low-high, unlike the Hitachi which go low-off-high. A slight difference, and both placements have merits, but with the Hitachi in order to go from low to high one must turn it off completely, which can be irritating even if it is just for a short second. However, this is highly a personal preference, and both designs do have their own flaws. One thing about having it off-low-high is that in order to turn it off from high one must go through low first, which can also be irritating.

Lastly it claims to have fixed the temperature problem which is the biggest issue I have with the Hitachi. Basically, the longer the Hitachi is used the hotter it gets, which is not really a plus in my book. Luckily, that’s something the makers of the Miracle Massager have allowed for, and so the Miracle Massager does not get nearly as warm as the Hitachi, even over long play sessions. This means you can play with the toy much longer, which is always a good thing!

I agree that the Miracle Massager is superior on all these points, however, it is not superior in the most important aspect of any vibrator and that is vibration! The vibrations of the Miracle Massager, while strong and enough to get me off, are not nearly as strong as those felt by the Hitachi. From what I can tell, the High setting on the Miracle Massager is just about equal to the Low setting on the Hitachi. This works fine for me, as I often have my Hitachi on low when I’m playing with it (though I love the high setting as well), but for those of you who need and love the strong vibrations that the Hitachi provides, this toy may not do the trick!

Basically, I love this toy and will continue to use it when I don’t feel the need for the crazy strong vibrations of the Hitachi. It is easier to handle, and doesn’t get as hot, which are big plusses in my book, plus it got me off (and easily too). If you don’t need the strength of the Hitachi on high (or feel the Hitachi is too strong for you), then I highly recommend this toy to you, as it would still feel great, and is superior to the Hitachi in design. However, if you are one of those people who needs the awesome power of the Hitachi’s vibrations, I’d stick with the Hitachi and pass over the Miracle Massager.

Review: A Venus You Will Want to Worship

Since my (first) HNT picture just yesterday featured her, I figured she should therefore be the first toy for me to review from the lot of toys I received from VibeReview last Friday.

From right out of the box I fell in love with my Vicky Venus, she even came with a little packet of lube, and I’m always a fan of unexpected additions. She is soft and smooth medical-grade silicone, which (in case you don’t know) means she’s made of one of the best (and one of my favorite) materials for sex toys to be made of. She’s non-porous, hypoallergenic, and easy to clean with just soap and water or can be completely disinfected via boiling and you can even put her in the dishwasher. Though because she’s silicone she should not be used with silicone lube.

I was expecting her to be a solid scarlet color, like her picture on her VibeReview page, but instead she is a gorgeous pinkish red with white marbling in her, which I think just adds to the Goddess-y feel of her. The marbling changes her from appearing silicone to something that could actually be in a museum, a not-as-voluptuous Venus of Willendorf (with a wide base), or simply a gorgeous Goddess Venus figurine. While I’m sure she would be gorgeous a single color as well (as she is in the first picture I saw her in) I do believe the marbling adds to the beauty of her form.

She is gorgeously curvy, but not so much that it’s irritating when she’s inside, quite the contrary in fact! I would go so far as to say her curves are not only in just the right places, but create just the right sensations! Her body ripples with her curves from her hands above her head down to her legs which transform into the base and each of those curves enhances the feeling of her inside. However, because of her curves I wouldn’t recommend her for anal play unless a good cleaning has occurred beforehand, just because with all those crevices she could get a little dirty.

She’s has about six inches insertable length and is not terribly wide, “.5″ x 1.44″ at widest point” according to VibeReview. Another really nice thing about her, also, is her base is nice and wide, about three inches across and nice, thick, and stable, which makes her easy to maneuver manually or to slip her into a harness and go to town (see above re: anal play, though). I can just imagine getting my gorgeous femme goddess cock orally worshiped! How perfect and fun would that be?!

My favorite part of this dildo is that right before I got her I had just been talking about my desire for a new femme cock. Now, she wouldn’t be my main femme cock, but she is definitely a femme cock, there’s absolutely no question about it. She’s sleek, sexy, femme-inine, silicone, gorgeous, and feels amazing!

Over the last week within which I’ve had her, I’ve played with her a few times on my own, and once with Master (and just gazed and awed at her a lot as well). While I don’t always need lube for most toys, when I have a toy that is curvy, ridged, or bumped I like to add a little just in case I need it. Toys like that can be painful if they aren’t lubed up enough, and while I know I will probably naturally lube-up quickly, I like to be on the safe side.

While this dildo is definitely a work of art, she, like a true Venus: Goddess of Love and Pleasure as she is, she definitely delivers the pleasure as well as the beautiful package it comes in. I highly recommend her to anyone who enjoys their dildos in fun shapes, or who would enjoy having a goddess-figure dildo, and those who love a lot of ridges or bumps in their toys. She’s definitely worth worshiping!

Some Structure for the Site

I’ve been thinking a lot about the structure of this blog, the intent, what I’m trying to “say” or do or what affect I’m trying to have, and I can’t answer all of those yet, but I’m working on it. This is more than just a blog for me to write about things going on in my life, because I use my livejournal for that (sort of, I’ve been slacking lately). This is more than just a blog for me to write things about BDSM, because I feel it encompasses more than that. I think that the sub-title really says it all. I do mainly focus on BDSM, but I try to post about each bit in kind.

So, in thinking about what I’m trying to say with this blog, I came to the conclusion that I lack the discipline (no surprise there) of posting as often as I would like. I think that in order to gain this discipline it may help for me to construct a list of days, call them nifty alliterated things and stick to the posting of them. This would also help me on the weekends or days when I have a lot of time which I can devote to the blog but have so much to write about I can’t decide on one thing.

I also added a neat plugin called Post Ideas which can keep track of my list of ideas of things I want to write about, and I can pull from that any time I may need to.

Obviously I wouldn’t be limited to these posts on these days, these are just a jumping-off point, and hopefully will help me focus my ideas and intentions. Also: I may not stick rigidly to these either, but I will try to post more often and something related to the day when possible. I may go completely off track, however, and don’t blame me if I do. These are guidelines, and not necessarily hard and fast rules.

My days:

Semantics Sunday – This would essentially be my definition of a word/phrase each week. Something related to one of the many identities which I explore within this blog (see: sub-title), which basically covers anything sexual, gender, bdsm, and poly/relationship oriented. Could be fun…

Masturbation Monday – A review of a sex toy! This may be in written or audio form (talking about the sexcast here), or possibly both. Most will be new, some may be follow-up information (if needed), some (if in audio) may be slight repeats. (Though there will be one this week that will not be on Monday since Monday already passed and I got my lot of sex toys from VibeReview on Friday!)

Temptress Tuesday – A post exploring the Domina personae or the cunt aspect of my cuntpet personae. The personaes who tempt, are tempting, and tempt others into action for various reasons.

Wicked Wednesday – A free-for-all post, really, about something I feel the need to blog about. Could be anything sexual, another Domina post, a cuntpet post, musings on BDSM in general, or something completely different! Random posts which do not fit into the structure go here, as long as they are somehow “wicked”!

Half-Nekkid Thursday – The well known and beloved way for sex(y) bloggers to expose themselves with more than just words. Many of you read my recent pondering regarding this phenomenon and now you know my answer. A lot of my decision was prompted by Ellie’s response to that post, and some of the ideas she brought up, and also prompted by my desire and need to use my Rebel XT more often. This will be fun…

Fucktoy Friday – A post exploring my cuntpet personae, either the fucktoy or pet aspect most likely, but also anything regarding sex and sexuality. Also a very broad category. Hopefully something salacious!

Saturday – None or free-for-all. Nothing specific, no alliteration, as I don’t tend to post on Saturdays (no bar against it, though, of course).

On a slightly side note (though I was talking about plugins before, so it’s slightly relevant), I also added an @reply plugin for comments, which can add an @Name to comments replying to other commenters. Also, the TwitThis plugin which you should see below this paragraph, which would allow you to tweet this post by clicking on it and logging in. It’s pretty neat (though I don’t wholly expect it to be used much (yet?), but I like it anyway).
