So what did it actually taste like exactly? Rancid eggnog mixed with broccoli water, pineapples, and garnished with a little nutmeg and a final hint (just a hint) of celery. It smells great. It smells like gingerbread cookies coated in cinnamon, it’s even a nice light brown color but do not be fooled! Once you actually mix this in water it turns green and has a taste not many people could stomach.

Editor’s Note: I think I love well-written humorous negative reviews, and this is definitely one of those. I couldn’t help laughing out loud at a few points, and while it doesn’t make me want to buy the product for any male I know it makes me want to read more of Average Joe’s reviews. Don’t you agree?

Editors Notes: Two this week, because I couldn’t choose between them! Making up for weeks I didn’t have any, maybe?

Sinfully Soft Leather Collar and Cuffs from Sinvention by Raven Quince

I may be a submissive, but I’m not into pain, so comfort was very high on my list of requirements. I went to many of the sex toy sites and their collars just didn’t seem to cut it, they looked flimsy and uncomfortable.

I admit I’m biased because I lust after everything Sinvention makes, but I thought the review was wonderfully written and really pulled me in, then I found out this was her first review which surprised me (maybe because my first many reviews were crap), and I knew I had to choose her this week!

Clone-A-Willy Candle Kit by Wendy Blackheart

I could make a model of his cock, it would be fun, and I wouldn’t be using it to fuck boys or girls with (since candles make very poor dildos. I know from experience. Don’t ask.)

I always love Wendy’s reviews and this is a particularly wonderful and hilarious one. Her stories are always delightful, and even though the kit was full of fail the post is full of win. Definitely worth a read!

Rainbow Bright Glass dildo by Thursday’s Child

When I first pulled the Rainbow Bright glass dildo out its protective bubble wrap, I literally gasped because it was sooo pretty. The picture really doesn’t do it justice – the colors are much more vibrant, much more intense. The contrast between the smooth glass and the raised texture of the hearts was subtle, but pleasing – I could just imagine how it would feel inside of me.

Editor’s note: Each week I try to pick posts which are not only well-written but also which are somehow unique or unusual and make me desire to own the toy being reviewed. I loved the callback to Rainbow Bright the cartoon character and with talking about a childhood memory in contrast with the gorgeous and very adult glass dildo. Not to mention I’m a sucker for hearts. Loved it!

[P]lacing them as is shown in the little instruction booklet left me feeling that they were always in danger of falling out. But now that I think about it, I suppose that’s the point; you instinctively clench around the balls and that works the PC muscle.

Bebe by Beautiful Dreamer

Love Being Woman, once again, seems very friendly. Warm & welcoming. One of the things they set out to do was a create a vibrator designed by women that was beautiful AND functional. And they’d had enough with the tacky images and bad packaging. As someone who dissects every package with a little too much critique, I have to say I definitely appreciate their attention to detail.

This Cocoa Bean & Goji Berry Aromatherapy Massage Oil is made by Intimate Organics, the same makers of the Hydra Lubricant I reviewed last week. Like their lubricant, their massage oil is also paraben free, DEA free, pure vegan, and organic!

I wasn’t sure how much I would like the scent of it. Cocoa Bean & Goji Berry, while sounding odd and intriguing, also sounded possibly also unpleasant. Unfortunately too many times when lotions or other body products go for a chocolatey smell it comes out horrible…
